Waiting For Her Words
She's the sunshine of my day,
The stars that light my night,
Sorry to say but I think I'm addicted to her and her texts,
And to her presence, I'm drawn tight.
I wait for her message to come,
Checking my phone every minute,
My heart beats with anticipation,
As I long for her words within it.
But sometimes the wait feels endless,
And my mind begins to race,
Did I do something wrong,
Did I say something that hurt her?
My thoughts continuously moving and sometimes out of control,
And I move towards my past history which is currently for me a blur.
But I know deep down that it's just my anxiety,
That's making me feel this way,
I trust in our beautiful friendship and such a strong bond,
And know that she'll come back with a beautiful message to me someday.
