Waiting For Her Kiss

Waiting for Her Kiss

I want to share her loving kiss
feel her caress my skin
feel her gently touch my lips
that trembling within
so long I'd hold her in that pose
so she would not forget
the way I used to make her feel
back when we first met
she used to kiss me all day long
our lips were always wet
but now that flame no longer burns
and words are all I get
I wish that I could find the words
to open up her heart
but all my lies have broken her
so we slowly grow apart
with no passion in my life
I'm left with only pain
and waiting for her kiss is like
trying to stop the rain
