Wait List

The news slowly wafted past her ears
Not knowing to laugh or show tears
The gut reaction deep in the heart
Only catching drifts as it came apart.

She hoped the news would be good
But only dampened her mood
In spite of the time that went by
Now all she wanted was to cry.

So many ups but lately the down
Wanting to be homeward bound
Another surgery drawing near
Needing to get over hospital fear.

Surgery is on the 21st so it only took 2 weeks from the results to the surgery. That is fast. love phyl

I once waited 10 days for blood thinner to clear my body before heart surgery. The wait was more stressful than the surgery. I can relate, Mrs Phyllis.
