Wait for it

Kids chase the birds that skyward fly.
One tries for words; but, only smiles.

This kid can't reach the lowest branch,
and drops the balls that others catch.

Another picks pink daisies; petals fall.
One cannot carry mud at all.

The children chase and grasp and guess;
and that is part of learning, yes.

But see, let's wait; the birds return.
And, planting seeds into the earth...

Nothing seems to happen, then
the blossoms come: again, again.

I love the opening and how the rest just flows in such a lyrical manner! Well written, sometimes words dont come easy when we have so much to express. Pleasure reading this. Hope holidays treat you well. Sending you light

Thank you. I had a child's point of view in mind, after watching grandchildren. I think I need to edit that in. Though this is true of learning at any age I think; you make an effort, but letting the seed grow is usually part of the journey. J :)
