Wait

Wait
1/08/2018

Alone I sit, with your face in my mind,
searching your eyes for my peace.
Tender beyond words, eyes so kind,
Your heart my resting place.

Alone I sit, waiting...waiting for the word,
It’s done baby I’m free, I’m finally yours.
I dreamt at night and that’s what I heard,
Our wait is over now for sure.

Alone I sit, my heart and body aches,
For without you I’m nothing baby.
Time..... so slow for goodness sakes,
This wait is making me crazy.

Alone I sit, my heart may be split,
But I know with your love it will mend.
The wait will end, will all be worth it,
And on each other we can always depend.
