Wages of Sin

All sins committed past, present, and future,
Were each paid for on the cross, by the Son.
He purchased each of us from the bondage of sin.
He was judged, the work has already been done.

We are each born spiritually dead to God,
At physical birth, as we take our first breath.
Born with a sin nature, temptating each to sin.
Adam’s fall caused this spiritual death.

Spiritual death can be overcome by one and all,
By simply believing in the Lord, Jesus Christ.
With faith in Him, you will be spiritually reborn;
Not by works, as His work on the cross sufficed.
