Wagering

I wouldn’t wanna miss you more
I simply miss you
A future I saw
Isn’t a future to be real

Dreams to come crushing down
With years giving for age to catch up
Younger whence be dreams found
With moments left to no longer be proud

When even loving you is to fail
Missing you perhaps not until
That of untrue to be real
A time now to truly feel

Given age... can I no longer achieve my dreams
To only be left with a changed dream for a changed age
Yet... No longer significant for future means
A wager too expensive for time to wage

I simply miss you
Nothing more
Futures left obscured
Isn’t everyone forever too late for?
