Void

Divorce papers
A bereft freedom

Revoking kisses
Erasing vows

Empty contract
Failed love story
Read between the lines

This type of poetry causes my heart to pause and skip beats...as a divorced person once, I cringe at the tho't of others painfully going thru it...(If this is fiction, well, this is darn powerful fiction!) Got your email and the formatting is perfect...I will just follow suit...Thanks for your kindest attention to details and quite possibly a great outcome for a few of us! Yeah. Agreed! Poor choice of candies--chocolate is out! Rock candy is IN! lol,,,Andrea advised me in great depth just as u did, so I feel very prepared to put my best foot forward. Cheers.

I like the implied distance in between the lines, like how you've grown apart, the holes left inside you. so sad :(
