Voices of the Night

Somewhere,
Where the valleys will snow
Somewhere,
Where the children soon go

Somewhere, before my wildest dreams
Somewhere, I can hear them all scream

Oh, voices of the night
You've drawn away my light

Oh voices like a spear
How you've punctured through my ear

How I wish you'd go away
But my mind begs you to stay

I swear,
it's like the shadows of death
Something,
That we're never bereft

Somewhere,
That I've now explored
One birth,
Is just one more

Voice who screams the night
Voice whom takes all light

A voice sharper than spears
That pierces both the ears

One day they'll go away
For we've 'come their dismay

Somewhere,
There is still the day
But as for me and you,
It has fade away
