The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Voices In the Head

Terrified of those voices,
Lingering through my head,
Taking a deep breath,
Sinking in to unconsciousness,
I can't let them win.

No cuts on my wrists,
A smile on my lips,
Hearing me laugh,
Hearing me smile,
Dead inside my soul.

Pay attention to my deep depression,
Indulge deep within my soul,
Take a second to listen,
A heart beat that has stopped.

Not letting the voices take over,
I am still here,
Fighting daily fighting strong.

Walk with me through the rain,
Through the darkness through the storm,
We can do this life all day long.
