Voices are Mummed

She spent an eternity to find her voice
Yet you found a way to cut her out
She fought generational doors to lead
Yet you blocked and created a blackout
Sounds just discovered, wanting to beat a rhythm
Yet you hide and create a noise throughout
All she has, are her words stringed together to be found
Is this fair to shut her …. Causing her to doubt
Voices are mummed, summons unheard, what can be done?
Let’s come together and hold the space…. “Simply let her Voice out”.
