Voice of My Soul

I find in prayer a balm for my worn soul,
A soothing salve to ease my aching heart,
A solace when life's storms beyond my control,
A way to find the peace that won't depart.

In quiet moments, I lift my voice on high,
And seek the strength to face the week ahead,
To hear the whisper of the divine nigh,
And find the courage when I am afraid.

Through prayer, I find a refuge in life's fray,
A shelter when I'm lost and feeling low,
A comfort when I cannot find my way,
And hope to guide me as I go.

So I bow my head and humbly pray,
And find the grace and love that lights my way.
