Voice of Fears
My fears, though constant, guide me
They help to make a choice
You’d say they lead me on my roads
They are my little voice
Though fear can lead to panic
It, too, can lead to peace
For then we face the knowing
That can put our minds at ease
So, be not ashamed, when frightened
Be not embarrassed too
For the fear inside is a voice you have
That’s calling out to you
Listen quite intently
Try to understand
Then forge ahead, by choices made
And you won’t hide, you’ll stand
