Voice of Fears

My fears, though constant, guide me They help to make a choice You’d say they lead me on my roads They are my little voice Though fear can lead to panic It, too, can lead to peace For then we face the knowing That can put our minds at ease So, be not ashamed, when frightened Be not embarrassed too For the fear inside is a voice you have That’s calling out to you Listen quite intently Try to understand Then forge ahead, by choices made And you won’t hide, you’ll stand

well wrote, fear can be a magnificent driving force, cant they. thanks for comments - a feel sad about the poem smiling no longer - was a me years and years ago!
