Vivid Dream

Dressed in all black - I'm a fvcking ninja tonight
In search of my princess - to do hee right

In seach of a lady I keep seeing in my dreams
To fulfill the destiny of a young, legendary Queen

For many, many years, I've seen her in visions as I sleep
In my R.E.M. dreams - she's always gonna creep

I'm frustrated as fvck that I don't know where she's at
But I know she's also a witch with a black cat

She'll be about 20 years my junior when we're supposed to meet
Her pure heart in my hands I know I'll want to keep

She'll manifest in ways where I know it's always her
Sometimes in my visions, her body, torso, or lower half is blurred

I'm wandering through a forest - I've never been before
I smell the rain - it's going to begin to pour

I slid my hood upon my head from my witchcraft robes
The hood went over my eyes - and partially my nose

My face will be distorted - to anyone who looks upon it
I've now started this mission - I can not turn around and quit

So I'll keep walking on - picking up her essence to guide
This vivid dream feels so real - but I'm asleep in my bed inside
