Visions, Tears and Bloodshed

It gives me no pleasure to speak of blessings
when my country men lie.. where they were
struck by the enemy.. that enemy of mine..
who mocks my peoples progress and vision..

The enemy spied my vision and progress
so he sent his minions to wreck havoc..
spread terror in the motherland.. Kenya
i speak of tears for its a bitter cup..

The shield to our defense an aspect..
of judgement in a senseless war..
and a enemy who lacks in morals
who strikes us where it hurts most

Son of our land in the big western city
said he would visit us and this inbred
spoiler wasted no time.. spreading terror
on the eve of Easter.. the tally 147

I pen to overcome the bitterness
that makes me feel like going to the..
land of the gods and asking for retribution
i pen for am bitter of heart for what happened

They spread terror and fear.. capitalizing on hate
they utter.. Jihad but they have no Imaan..faith
they claim to be believers but they are driven
driven by hate hate for progress.. i know Imaan..

I know faith i know religion and i know
when an enemy of progress is spoiling..
attacking my motherland on the pretense
pretense of faith and beliefs.. creeds

to peace and love and unity
from the green city in the sun..
the land of splendor and mysteries
the land of shield, spear and the lion..

A very state our country is in, politically speaking. Praying for God's intervention isn't enough. We need to work together relentlessly for peace, harmony, ad progress, and encourage God to come in...

You said it so well. We are so shocked, angered and hurt by the vicious actions of those that are trying to destroy our country. But we will never be shaken. We will stand strong till the enemy is defeated. Peace!
