Visions of You

I watch as a vision of you
forms from a warm mist
Echoing of your essence 
perception of reality persists

A torrent of sentiments 
Overwhelms with a heaviness
Outstretched I reach to you
Hands and minds steadiness 

Unknowing left in uncertainty 
Unsure what's real and not
Confused and scared thinking
To fill an emptiness all I sought

When the mist slowly fades away
Ghostly memories possess my soul
Stealing all reminders of you 
As my life spins out of control
