Visions of Goodness

Many eyes are blinded by the storms of the world,
ignoring the visions of goodness woven throughout the day.
The refreshing touch of heaven's blessed showers
is pushed aside by a human's impatient way.

Life's breath flies like a humming bird's wings,
but the forgetting soul chooses the material things.
Busy human hearts remain buried in daily tasks,
rejecting the magic the wind's voice brings.

As people rush through their bubbles of stress,
the gentle gift of kind words echo in the air.
But this song of human love goes unnoticed,
as the disease of indifference kills the ability to care.

One golden vision of human kindness
lasts forever within the hurting mortal heart.
When the world ignores love's healing touch,
precious moments of goodness are torn apart.
