Vision In Transition

we used to see
eye to eye
agreeing on
how clean
the air was
down
there

that we
would have
the same
distance
when we
fell from
grace

but with age
and with youth
i shrunk and
slumped but
she bought
a pair
of new

pumps

Perhaps she needed to rise to the occasion. It might make it easier for you to see eye to eye.
