Virtue
Dont offer me your hand,
If you have your finger pointed,
Like me you're just a man,
Not someone that god anointed...
There is no judges stand,
I don't see a preachers pulpit,
Although your gestures grand,
It's your heart that is the culprit...
You should take a second look,
And much more than just a glance,
When the ground below me shook,
It was strengthening my stance...
What you perceived as weak,
Is what I believe as purpose,
It inflates the best in me,
So it rises to the surface...
Don't misinterpret helpless,
It's so easily misread,
So by virtue I summize,
That I rise above instead...
