Violets

Violets…
In blue, purple and yellow
Seems like this red hot world
Makes me everything but mellow.

The coward I feel inside
But I doubt this all resolve
Destroyed beyond all repair
You can’t deal with me anymore.

I would never quit
But you deserve much more
Why should you suffer at my expense
I’m just a thorn stuck in your side
