Vindication
I wrote a song and sang it badly
The content was such they listened gladly
you think I’d be embarrassed
reputation vanished
But the latter a failed preclude deluded truth
And you can’t damage what damaged
Thousands of ears now know I can’t sing in tone
but despite the missed notes they listen to what I wrote
What I wrote is what I project out to be known
It’s the head I sell it ain’t ordinary
others living the same old story
I’ve intelligence to realise and not conform
No insecurities to hide with guts to perform
why cave and cry when you ain’t the norm
I fly the sky high and become the storm
they write me off whilst I'm writing down
but I write with the left I'm the wrong way around
so my right-off on-left goes to town
they now smile upside frown
the ones laughing before now don’t
It’s oh so quiet
til I fail again and egos enjoy it
Words seep through
nerd when I need too
transparent and true
I do what I do
now too deflate egos of lads
I aint absolutely barking mad
deep down inside you aint glad
cus you know I can make you look bad
The blind man sees what he sees what he knows
don't believe rumours and be a dense dumbo
and Facebook aint the true person on show
neither are songs skits or poems they wrote
funny how things flip around
peaceful is life in this sound
you enjoy life when others fail,
sod that mate, you live in Hell
