Villanelle of the Disillusion

3/1/2016

A drink in my hand on the night that just begin
Disillusion from this reality by an unmended heart
Where am I ? adrift from festivity enamored by the night

Taken by the beauty , drawn in by the moonlight
Was is all a lies , was my love come up short
A drink in my hand on the night that just begin

Time froze still as a simple three words would change the night
In this generation what i hold dear is nothing more than sport
Where am I ? adrift from festivity enamored by the night

What once was is coming to an end as fast approach was midnight
Intoxicated by the air or was is the alcohol none can tell apart
A drink in my hand on the night that just begin

In this shaken and distorted world my only hope is to find the light
The alluring scent capture being as the night slowly depart
Where am I ? adrift from festivity enamored by the night

Like a fleeting dream, overwhelm with sense of peace by daylight
Tell me how all of this work in this world it broken let restart
A drink in my hand on the night that just begin
Where am I ? adrift from festivity enamored by the night
