Vii

I am filling with a liquid loss,
this flesh isn’t solid anymore,
I may be slowly sinking
in a puddle on the floor.

The emptiness is gurgling
from toe to chest to head,
displacing all the substance,
dissolving the words you said.

This is a wonder solvent-
it can obliterate any trace,
love, laughter, friendship,
this agent for removing grace.
