Video Game Memories

My dad brought home Mario around 1986. We plugged it in right away and started busting bricks. Tecmo Bowl and Baseball stars were next in line to play. Me and dad went head to head almost everyday. Contra had its jungles and I became the best. Gunsmoke was my favorite shooting up the west. Mortal Kombat hit the screen and made my parents scream. Madden made his football so we could live the dream. Then they started changing and became to hard to play. Now days you need a manual and it takes up half the day. But even though I'm grown now with lots of bills to pay. When my wife and kids aren't looking I'll sit down and play. Dustin Self (Video Game extravaganza Contest)

I love this one! I had great memories of those same games you played with your dad. They don't make 'em like they used to, huh...
