Victory So Sweet

Fate is but a weakness of a timid spirit gone astray
as the child wanders from chores and seeks out play
Wanting is never enough to get it done
labor for your efforts make it a worthy one
Every setback is one step forward
accept the facts and burdens shoulder
The taste of defeat is bitter but a lesson learned
wiser at the task makes victory so sweet to earn
Never fear fear let pride subside
bless the worthy partner who works side by side
And when you achieve it all be grateful and atone
charity is a tide a blessing received and shown
