Victims

He watches, as she fades away
To a place that he can't go
A place where he can't reach her
And her pain he just can't know

She sits and stares in silent
As he watches patiently
He tells her that she's not alone
Ever waiting, faithfuly

He never once leaves her side
As he tries his to understand
There's nothing he can do to help her
So he just sits, and holds her hand

She's lost in utter darkness
With no way to find the light
In a realm of total hopelessness
She no longer wants to fight

Depression affects everyone
Whether you are the victim or not
It's not just the one who suffers
But the loved ones you forgot
