Victim Again!

She Found Him...Crumpled and abandoned
She'd found him...By the side of the road of life
She'd found him...Cast off by a heartless lover
She'd found him...He had been used, abused, teased, mislead
Stripped of his dignity, and left naked , wandering;
in search of his soul...
Broken , ragged, fragments of his heart;
held tightly to his chest... that's all that was left;
He'd lost the rest...Sick and self-loathing
She'd found him...Broken and shattered
She'd found him...Heart grown cold...
She'd warmed him...Warmed him with warm embraces;
And careful breaths...
She revived his dying heart...
With gentle hands she lifted him;
With caring hands she nursed him back to life;
With gentle eyes she viewed his broken soul;
and mended his broken heart;
With sensitive ears she listened to his story;
With strong hands she helped him stand tall;
and regain his glory...
He was healed ....His sense of manhood returned....
She had held him through his sorrow, anger and angst...
Now... he turned from her with...No word of thanks...
He was healed...and so he left....
Behind him...She watched with tears in her eyes;
As the door to her heart...Closed with a slam!
Never to be opened...in kindness again...
She had been used...Once again!
