VIBRANT ENERGY SHINGING THROUGH
Vibrant Energy Shining Through

Determined to find ways to live, smile and process my way through
Some days I ask myself what's wrong with me
Then something happens again that triggers deep grieving of you
This process is not always as simple as some of us might think
Everyone's process is so different
Even though I struggle to find the missing links
Sometimes these moments sneak up and take me by surprise
Often I don't even see them coming
Especially if I'm in a block, as I compartmentalize
It could be something as simple as can be
Not stuff I might consider would open up this well
But then, all of a sudden the tears just stream out of me
This past Sunday, your lovely girlfriend came to visit in winter's cold
She brought your light and warmth into this home
Made me laugh and brought refreshment to my soul
Especially when she decided to play outside in 2 feet of snow
With nothing but the socks on her feet
While we all laughed and watched her glow
Her personality so much like yours, full of vibrancy and fun
It was a sight just to watch her
Lively, full of energy and definitely the most talkative one
Other sweet friends of yours were there with us that night too
We all played games and had some girl time
And, of course, shared some fun memories of you
But the most important thing that was left with me that night
Was to see you live through your sweet Clara
When she never even realized she was emanating your light
She was my sonshine, even though all we could see were stars
All of us girls laughed and shared on that night
About just how many similarities between the two of you there are
That night will always remain a big memory deep within my heart
Because you were right there among us
Your Vibrant Energy Shining Through her from the start!!
