Vetting Refugees

Our President assured us
that "they", will all be cleared
"You're safe here in America
there's nothing to be feared"

Vetting may not help us much
Where, were the Passports made?
Did they buy them on the street?
Or, from someone in the shade?

Takes an Expert with a "sense"
to spot the "Real McCoy"
Those that land here, and are passed
won't make you "jump for joy"

Just one, out of one thousand
that's all they really need
To recruit "those with bitterness"
that's how they'll plant the "seed"

Then, one after another
they're sure to slowly grow
And take in "those without a life"
when it's "too late", you'll know

With no ID to start with
how have they all been cleared?
Our President assured us
there's nothing to be feared.....

It's a scary thought. I feel for the true refugees and want to help them, but it is a very real threat that a terrorist can sneak through. Sorry to say I don't trust our President. A thought provoking write, Pete! Love, Kim

Most are good, it's the few that concern me. Thanks
