Veterans Day Thank You To Veterans

Thank you to all, for your sacrifice made
Fighting for our safety and freedom
Bringing us shining light in the shade
Thank you for caring about our country and our lives
Through losses and lonely times you have endured
All of your bravery that carries on and strives
Happy Veterans Day to you all!
Thank you for your dedication and service
We are forever grateful for your call!

God Bless America!

Thank you for this one. I have three veterans in my family. One is my daughter who signed up during the Gulf War.

The least we can do for those who take on the often horrendous challenge and sometimes pay a terrible price, all for others. Well penned.

Thanks for reminding me about the holiday, Heidi. I was wondering why traffic was so light on the roads! LOL... On a personal note: My parents were married on Veterans' Day a long, long time ago. They were veterans too, in the sense that they survived the 'hell' of raising me! (They wanted me to be a lawyer or a doctor. Oh, well...) Smiles, GershonRPX

Hi Gershon. Thank you for the visit. Interesting your parents were married on Veterans Day. Thanks for their service too, as you say they were veterans. And wanted you to be a lawyer or doctor? wow! Smiles to you back :)
