Veteran's Day 2019

Thank You doesn't seem like enough, When referring to this day. In fact I doubt there is a phrase, Deserving enough to say... You thoughtlessly take up arms, To defend our liberty. Not thinking twice- Risking life, For people like you and me. Leaving family and friends behind, You go to do what you do. And I wouldn't be free- To share thoughts like these, If not for folks like you. On this day dart aside for you, Let's make sure this is crystal clear. I thank you each and every day that I live, Not just one day a year. Living and breathing super heroes, I'm so glad you're on my side. Protecting all good from evil forces, And kicking ass worldwide. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You for your service.
