Verse Freed To Vocalise

you are so fair
           a banner over me
           my perfect one
           who o'erwhelms me
my pure one
            a sealed spring
            how fair how sweet
            so fragrant filled
            with love
love
     until it pleases
            &shadows flee
            a heart rejoicing
            such fearsome fire
            quenched
                  in swoons of love
my lover is mine
            a delight-filled choice
            let me hear
                those lips speak
love  until it pleases
     thus I find peace
     &know myself
