I tire of reading and listening to Those using their quill and ink to bring pain If they do not have their same point of view. Does it relieve their pain? What do you gain? Vengeful actions of judgmental people And haters is demeaning and it does Influence how we see and judge evil. Back off! No more! Congratulations on your win. Much said here. When I was a kid I thought this stuff would be over by the time I was 21. Kids would grow up. I was sad to learn it would never stop. As a child, I was told to say nice things or say nothing at all. So many wonderful writes here, so much talent. I feel like a small fish in a huge pool with huge fish/great writers. Enjoy your win and day...........

Eve, I applaud your effort to pursue the ideals that Poetry Soup have established; of being a place of positive encouragement. It is what many Soupers came here for. Some have left because they see too much negativity. Well done. Hugs ~ John

I write about Trump because I see a Trump behind the face on Fox News, much the same as a father sees a different face to his daughter's date. Long before Shakespeare, poets disparaged people they knew to be phoney! Aloha! Rico

Well said Eve.. I do not understand why poets think it is clever or a good idea to write about others... Especially those who complain about bullying but the write about others, is that not also bullying? I thought poetry was supposed to be positive!

It is very much so bullying ,silent one ,These people do it in such a way that others don’t realize they are bullying other people with their write That’s what bothers me because I am one of the naïve ones that I cannot see it sometimes and all of us need to be aware that they have a specific person in mind.
