Velvet Nemasea’s Song: Lagoon of Loneliness

I was an emotional mess
In the lagoon of loneliness
I was making little progress
Swam alone more or less…

There’s a lonely soul in the dead of night
My heart is pounding with undying might
I’ve been alone without you here, my dear
Abide by my side, for I won’t have any fear

Swimming free in the lagoon of loneliness…
I am so happy you’re not alone, but I need my happiness
I miss you, my love…my darling…
Will you eventually take wing?
I hide my hidden pride inside…
I died in the river ride and I cried…
In the lagoon of loneliness…
The lagoon of loneliness…

I was a distant river stone
In the lagoon of loneliness
Lament and in ashes, all alone,
Churning like a sea of solace

There’s a lonely soul in the dead of night
My heart is pounding with undying might
I’ve been alone without you here, my dear
Abide by my side, for I won’t have any fear

Swimming free in the lagoon of loneliness…
I am so happy you’re not alone, but I need my happiness
I miss you, my love…my darling…
Will you eventually take wing?
I hide my hidden pride inside…
I died in the river ride and I cried…
In the lagoon of loneliness…
The lagoon of loneliness…

You’re a fiery ocean,
So full of my emotion
You’re full of commotion
Yet, you’re my devotion
You’re a fiery sea,
So full of ecstasy
You’re full of erosion
Yet, you’re my devotion…

If only you could save me
From this lagoon of loneliness
If only you’d be my sea
Of pleasure and peacefulness
