Veiled Splendour

There are truly things of beauty
in the common everyday round
to be found./
The myriad expressions of omnipotent love
cannot be bound./
There is wonder to be seen in a common flower,
to fill the awakened spirit with natures power./

How sad that millions walk through life,
from adulthood to old age, blind
with eyes shut and closed mind./
More's the pity that life's grand panorama
flits swiftly by and we tragically miss
the radiant, vibrant drama./

Indeed...all should open their eyes and appreciate the beauty and wonders all around us...a wakeup call much needed.
