Vanities of Life
How life seems endless
To him that doesn't want to enjoy less
And like a driver that is too reckless
He seeks after those things which are worthless
Truly he loves to give his some pleasure
But this he doesn't take time to measure
How he searches for what he thinks to be treasusre
Only to find it to be a sheer pressure
Early in the morning does man rise to run
As fast as the bullet from the gun
Hoping to reach the summit before the set of the sun
How he commits his life this like a nun
Vanity may appear to all as being essential
While it only possesses the quality of being superficial
Oh that we strife for that which is eternal
For pleasures down here are only ephemeral
