Vampire's Legacy

The night is my domain my friends
 It's where I live my life
 I stalk my prey out in the dark
 More deadly than any knife

The shadows are where I stay, my friends.
 I follow out of sight
 I love the fear in victims hearts
 I want them to try to fight

Five hundred years I've lived my friends
 On blood I have to feed.
 I drain my victims completely dry.
 It satisfies my lust and greed.

I am no myth my friends.
 Amongst you I do walk.
 A hunter in the plains of man.
 Of my legend you do talk.

I am known by many names my friends
 But none know who I am.
 Born to darkness long ago
 I am the killer of man.

Do I change my shape my friends?
 Alas, that is untrue.
 Do I burn in the light of day?
 Unfortunately, that i do.

I enjoy that you're in fear my friends.
 As you know you are to die.
 You shall live inside my veins my friends.
 For your souls no one shall cry.

No one knows your here my friends.
 You are in my secret place.
 I will let you see my blood red eyes.
 I will show you my true face.

My heart is small and black my friends.
 Your god abandoned me.
 So now I'll pillage all of man.
 You'll see how evil I can be.

doomed to live forever,my friends
 Death is not my luxury.
 But for you the end is coming
 Your life belongs to me.

Now close your eyes my friends.
 I come to stake my claim.
 I will ensure I make this quick for you
 I'll ensure there is no pain.

No, not everything is legend my friends.
 You've found my weakness, true.
 Wooden stake and silver blade.
 I realise I've underestimated you.

Now my term on earth is done my friends.
 A grave mistake I made.
 You have ended my immortality 
 With that wooden stake and blade.

However, I have left a gift my friends.
 My legacy, the gift that I bestow.
 I've bitten now, I tasted you
 the night is yours, no more daylight will you know.
