vampire girl

fashionable vampire girl with 1950 cat eye glasses
Ran home with us from the grave yard, scared of the grasses
Why do they bother you so? We asked her, but there was no reply.
She likes being in our kitchen, she has baked a fine rhubarb pie

She sleeps in the corner of the pantry, among pumpkins and gourds
She made us lemon muffins yesterday, with icing crossed as swords
What does your family think of a vampire girl living in your home?
Eager for tonight’s dessert, she has promised us a raspberry scone.
