Value of Nurturing

lust just somehow happens desire easily ignites eagerly the heart opens to the possibility of delights oh, the excitement of a new romance that heated moment a sensual dance that luscious feeling isn’t meant to last it reaches its ceiling then fades into the past true love takes time to grow and mature reaching its prime, it requires nurture without any effort love will deteriorate the failure to court makes loneliness one’s fate like people, love ages and needs some upkeep with neglect the damages will run profoundly deep

Great poem, Christy! Love is definitely a lot of work! You snooze, you lose!

Here is another poem that is profoundly true, you have hit the nail squarely on the head Christy. I love the 5th stanza, love does take effort and that effort should be a joy, if it is not, then it is not love.
