Value Found From the Outside
do you find it unthinkable
to be the source of ridicule
damaging the way you're thought
fearing the respect will fall
do you find you're more valueable
because you hide away your flaws,
judgement brings about rewards?
judgement which is never yours.
so you live for the way you're seen?
what people think is centre scene,
and your thoughts do not mean a thing,
behaviour is the vital link
do you feel you feel assured
acting so the points are scored
making sure that you install
a reputation fake and false
can you see how avoiding ridicule
means sacrificing your inner core
a view of you all others rule,
pretending so not seen a fool
the fear made you ridiculous
stuck this way continuous
and this is who you are because
protection is a vital must
a fear of fear made you become
a person who has no freedom
who is a favourable unknown
and a known favourite of none
