Valley

We enter the valley
Of shadows
Of thorns
A narrow path
Well worn

Where friends
Have travelled
Tattered, torn
No sunlight
Before new dawn

We said
Goodbye
Our souls forlorn
Yet hopeful joy
To be reborn

Oh this is truly a transformative write dear Cindy, I especially love how evocative it is, with forlorn feeling when a soul is worn out, on the edge of resilience and wishing to be reborn as a hopeful dawn.. This touched my heart, as it's so resonating too, your rhymes are absolutely impeccable and giving a rich flow to these words.. Absolutely a heartfelt read it was, conveying vivid emotions with an effortlessly tone.. Sending you so many best wishes & light ~

I like the reborn bit. If only I could change some things in my new life.

Change is where hope lives, Paul dear. Pain is the great teacher but no-one wants to go to his classes. Best Cindy x (and thanks for calling by)
