Valentine's Longing For You

House all clean and filled with sweet scents
Of candles of apple pie freely filling nostrils
As I enter house full of stress.
Soft music softly playing from atop the stairs
As I see scenes from days
When we would embrace with a kiss
As I entered our house full of stress.

Shadows of you dance on the floor
As I hold you in embrace with a tear
Running freely from my cheek to floor.
I feel your eyes gaze into my heart
As I move to the side your hair.
I see the brunette waves of hair
Sway as we dance on the floor.

Creaking of the stairs I snap to reality
I see our children racing to my stability
As I feel your lips kiss my cheeks with senceretity.
Memories of our love and loyalty
To each other was never in futility.

Tears run from my eyes
As drops of rain from the sky,
But all are tears of joy
Because Valentine's was everyday.
Now that you went away
I will hold you someday
Soon my valentine filly.
