Valentine Lost

I left the flowers on your doorstep
Crushed red velvet
You couldn’t say you loved me now
You couldn’t say you loved me then
How am I to know what lies deep in your heart?
If you won’t talk to me
About the pain
Love is lost
Never found
On days like this
Are never found
So I take my leave
And leave I must
For there is nothing left
For the two of us.

This cuts real deep, Stephen. I can really feel the pain. "If you won’t talk to me About the pain Love is lost, Never found..." It's always very hard losing someone, especially ones that we love dearly... Always, Laura

Wow! This is without a doubt a 7. I am so voracious for more of your lines right now and I definitely will come by to enjoy the bliss of your words.
