Valentine Lace

VALENTINE LACE
Our love has many moods to see us through,
and ev'ry day we find a mood that's new,
as if love's been reborn each time we meet,
and ranges slightly warm, to torrid heat,
from just a kiss--to all the love we do;

our love is many things to make love be
so picture perfect, for the world to see,
to paint each kiss as vibrant as a rose,
upon our tapestry, so that it grows,
into a kiss so made of you and me;

our love reveals, what lovers all have known,
since time began, the heart each one has shown,
and shows us all, love's still the valentine,
from year to year, the best of yours and mine,
to which the lace of life is finely sewn.
