Valediction
Quite some time has passed since then..
we used to sit together for hour's,talking endlessly,
"till the yellow sun turned dark"..
and a gracious embrace to mark a goodbye,
i used to walk back home with scent of you in my soul,
and a silent promise "to woke up to radiance of your love next day".
Quite some time has passed since then....
when i waved you a last goodbye,
without the embrace,without the scent of your love..
with a cold heart & a numb mind,i flared up those memories,
and silent cries of promises went unheard...
Quite some time has passed since then..
"your laughter and character are still upon my heart".
