Vagabond Valley

you should step back into the forest of the mind
and look at the bark that ascends up the trees
there may be answers to questions you forgot to ask
whose words are still a rumor swirling in the breeze

or could there be more than this that sits alone
in the confines of one’s subconscious ravine?
like future paths that await your curious print
and vagabond dreams that remain to be seen

Dreamy nature illumines the mind! An interesting way to use natural scenery to foster a deeper introspection. Enjoyed your thought-provoking verse!
