John, you describe a hollowness that seems so prevalent in these times. We seek to fill the void with eartly things, to no avail. Well written cinquain. Hugs, Donna

Very thought-provoking cinquain, John. It's bad enough when "places" are vacant, but many times people's hearts, minds and souls have the type of vacancy you describe. I have felt this way myself at times. Compelling write! Love, Carolyn
