Uvalde's Children

Where have all the children gone Innocent laddies and lasses so, I wonder why they had no future Just how they were chosen to go? Don’t tell me God needed angels Or they were in the wrong place, There are no comforting words Only solace a warming embrace. My heart still aches deep inside For Uvalde’s children, I have cried, No, you cannot know how I feel I am sure that only time can heal.

I cannot fathom what happened; my mind cannot comprehend. I have worked in 9 schools; I see 9 principals unlocking or kicking down that door an hour before it opened.

I can't say any more than I did. I am still heartbroken. Little innocent kids, Caren..........

Sadly the town of Uvalde will never forget the evil that came to their town that day. Tom

No, they won't, Tom, and I'd like to think neither will we.
