Utmost Compassion and Care

Want to reach a child, teach him to care?
   To do everything with a gentle flair?

Don't hover over over him 'til you're blue in the face
   Or lavish undeserved praise on him -- a complete waste!

Show him the way, instead, in your every action and deed
   By modeling utmost compassion and care, plant the seeds

Honor and speak well of your father and mother
   Your aunt and your uncle, your sister and brother

Always consider how you'd like to be treated
   When communicating with others, even on Twitter

By modeling daily the caring way to act and behave
   You'll raise a chlld to be proud of, from cradle to grave
