Us Again

Stop pushing me to the edge, I am now standing on my toes.
Turn to a new page, and please, hear my woes.
Then you were filled with rage, and only saw my flaws.
Stuck in the lion's cage, shivers to behold its jaws.
Turn down the pain gauge, forget the broken laws
Remember the old adage, true love comes and goes?
Pull us from where you dug us, cleanse your heart from spears and daggers.
